New User Policies

As part of our ongoing efforts to fight forum spam, all new members at ZBC are on moderated status.

1. New posts will not appear immediately.  Instead, they go into a moderation queue so that our staff can verify that they do not violate forum policies.  Once it has been determined that the post is not spam, it is approved to appear on the forum.  This can take anywhere from a few minutes to several hours, depending on time of day.
2. If a moderated post has images in it, a thumbnail will appear in the bottom row at ZBC.  However, this thumbnail will link to an "invalid thread" message until the post has been approved by the moderators.
3. Users on Moderated status may not send private messages or site email to other ZBC members. 
4. Users on Moderated status may download any files that are hosted on the forum, such as ZBrush plugins.

After your first several approved posts, your account will automatically be updated by the site to remove you from Moderated status.  At that point, your posts will begin appearing immediately and any other restrictions on your account will be lifted.
